Busy Opening for Western Men in Sheds Community Project
The Western Men in Sheds community project has been busy in recent weeks. As well as setting up our workshop and warm space area in Derby Road, Peel, we have been busy with various projects.

Western Men in Sheds Open Day – Wednesday 25th January 2023
The committee have now signed the lease on the Old Garage Workshop, adjacent to Peel Town Hall, Derby Road, and are hosting an open day on Wednesday 25th January between 10:00am and 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to join us, refreshments will be available. Please support us to support your community.
Fabulous turn out for Western Men in Sheds Coffee Morning
On Friday 2nd December, Western Men in Sheds held their first fundraising event in the form of a coffee morning which was held at St Patrick’s Church in Peel.
Please help raise £1,500 to setup a new Men in Sheds in the West from January 2023, and create warm spaces.
These facilities will support older people through activities- developing skills and keeping good company within the community whilst tackling social isolation and loneliness, in the West of the Isle of Man.
